At LogiPharma Connect, we spoke to OMP to see why they continue to sponsor year on year.
OMP: We have sponsored LogiPharma Connect twice now. We’ve renewed our sponsorship, mainly for the fact that you are closer connected with all the delegates compared to larger scale events, and that you can set up 1-1 meetings, where the delegates are really dedicated to coming and having conversations. It’s also good to see that last year we were requesting meetings, but this year it was the other way around. People are now requesting to meet with us, so that proves that the Connect model is working and that our brand awareness is growing from it.
OMP: They’ve been good, a good variety of stakeholders, and good connections within the right companies we’re interested in. In my opinion, the delegates don’t feel overwhelmed with the number of vendors either, which allows them to be open, explore, and to have open conversations.
I think both the 1-1 meetings and the networking sessions are equally valuable. It allows you to either reach out to others because their schedule was full, or you’ve heard recommendations to speak to specific people.
OMP: We’ve spoken to at least 13 companies over the course of the event, and we’ve had eight scheduled meetings which have all been a good quality. We have also had a lot of informal chats during the breakout sessions and the networking opportunities.
OMP: The organisation is excellent; everything is running smoothly. We’ve had the event team coming around double-checking that delegates were still coming to the meetings.
We think this is a great opportunity to meet industry peers, reconnect with existing partners and to reach out to new ones, we are here for the long-term.
