Why did you choose to sponsor LogiPharma Connect?

Overhaul: We have sponsored LogiPharma Connect before and returned this year as the format is excellent. I like the idea of pre-scheduled 1-1 meetings where you have a chance to talk to people. It’s not overly salesy, people are more willing to have a conversation and build relationships, which is super valuable in this industry. They’ve been of great quality, all very engaged, and we’ve met lots of them during the networking opportunities, like the dinner last night.

How many 1-1 meetings have you had overall?

Overhaul: We have had ten meetings overall, which will result in some good business for us. A lot of them; we have booked a good follow-up as soon as next week, so that’s good. We used the attendee profiling information before our meetings to help prepare, and using the app was very helpful throughout the event.

Have you attended any of the sessions?

Overhaul: We have attended some of the sessions, and they’re very interesting because there’s good information and interesting topics, but what’s most interesting is how many times specific topics come up year after year.

How would you rate the organisation of the event overall?

Overhaul: We’ve done the large-scale LogiPharma event and Connect event for the past two years because of the organisation of the events. It’s a lot relating to the on-site team; they’re always willing to help, friendly, and positive. It’s fantastic compared to other conferences we attend.

Would you say it’s important to sponsor LogiPharma Connect in the future?

Overhaul: Yes, I think we will continue to sponsor. Most conferences have meeting rooms as opposed to booths, but here it's just much more of a real conversation. Having these booths makes the delegates not feel like they’re being ambushed and have to stop. It’s a planned time for the meeting, and the conversation doesn’t have to be “when are you going to buy?” or, “what are you going to buy?”, it’s more relaxed like, “let me learn more about your company and understand how you can help us.” It’s all good to understand so we can focus on the right areas.
