Christian Hay

Christian is Senior Consultant Healthcare at GS1 Global Office, and convenor of the ISO TC 215 Working Group 6 (Health Informatics “Pharmacy & Medicines Business”).

Christian works for over 30 years in the Healthcare industry. Since 1990, he has been a driving force for the implementation and use of GS1 standards in the Swiss Healthcare.

Christian is focussing on interoperability for IT standards in the healthcare industry. He is currently involved in development of IDMP standards and implementation guides. He further is engaged in the Horizon 2020 project “UNICOM”, where IDMP finds its concrete application for safer care and increased efficiencies across Europe.

Christian is currently bord member of CTADHL, a not-for-profit organisation promoting consistent implementation of IDMP across jurisdictions.
