At LogiPharma Connect, we spoke to James Emslie, Enterprise Sales Manager at Veratrak, to see why they chose to sponsor.

Why did you choose to sponsor LogiPharma Connect?

James: We have sponsored LogiPharma Connect before, and the feedback last year was really positive. It was a valuable event mainly because we are looking to generate business opportunities and mutual value with our clients, and we felt last year we were able to deliver on those objectives, so we decided to return this year with a really targeted plan to achieve that again.

How have the quality of delegates been on site?

James: We spend a lot of time thinking about our target audience and our ideal customer profile, and the LogiPharma Connect delegation really fits with our target, so it's a key event on our calendar. We've also found the level of seniority here is particularly good compared to other events in the marketplace.

How many 1-1 meetings have you had?

James: We've had around twelve 1-1 meetings. We're clear about targeting specific outcomes for ourselves at events like this. We had a goal for this, and I think we will exceed that goal. To book 12 meetings with a senior VP-level audience like this would probably take 8 to 12 weeks, and we got them all done in two days.

How did you find the attendee profiling provided before the event?

James: The attendee profiling was very useful for preparation. It is key for us to start to map our value proposition to the delegates challenges, both from a company perspective and from a functional delivery perspective. The profiling helped me to prepare a targeted pitch for every single pre-booked meeting that we had.

How was the panel session Veratrak hosted?

James: We’ve already received some feedback directly from people who attended. They found that it was a nice way to get our value proposition in front of a lot of people with a thought leadership component instead of making it purely a self-dimension.

Do you see sponsoring this event having a positive impact on your goals as a business?

James: Events marketing is a component of our greater market strategy, and we are very selective about the events we attend. We want to attend events where our value proposition is in front of accounts with a capacity and a compelling reason to buy. We believe the type of people at LogiPharma Connect are exactly the people who tick all those boxes. We’ve already signed up for next year edition.
